In episode #102, Adam shares how he thinks he was an addict and alcoholic from the beginning. "All I cared about was drinking and using." Suffering from chronic relapsing, he would hit another bottom every five years and return to the program for help. This vicious cycle continued for twenty-five years until he experienced a breakthrough.
